Services

We offer a wide range of services and take pride in our good quality work. We aim to work with you to find the best option for your tree needs.

Tree surgery and removals

Professional pruning should be conducted in line with current Australian Standards and requires a knowledge of tree species and biology.

Trees do not heal wounds, they compartmentalise. An experienced Arborist has a good working knowledge of C.O.D.I.T theory ( Compartmentalisation of Decay in Trees) and how different tree species respond to pruning wounds.

Crown reduction, thinning, uplifting, removal of deadwood, selective weight reduction, and partial or whole limb removal are all common pruning practices.

The extent to which they are required is determined by a balance of client needs, tree species and current health and safety concerns.

We also remove trees that are no longer wanted by the client, or have become dangerous, sick or have died.

Aesthetic and formative pruning

Trees can be pruned, allowing them to grow in a way that either looks better and/or makes the tree stronger.  Smaller branches that have died and may be caught in the tree can also be removed, improving safety.

Management plans

Management plans can be devised so that your tree has the best chance of surviving when development takes place within the tree's vicinity.

Inspections and advice

Rob has more than 35 years observing and monitoring trees.         He is able to provide advice on existing trees as well as advice about what is the best tree to plant in your garden.

As a qualified arborist, Rob is able to write reports for developments, schools and kindergartens.

Tree reports

Rob, our senior arborist is qualified to write tree reports for a range of reasons such as school safety and council permits for developments. These reports provide staged suggestions for the management of the trees.

Storm and fire recovery

Living in Gippsland our team knows how wild the weather can be.

Our team is able to provide advice as to whether a tree should be retained or removed after an event such as a storm or a fire. We can then implement that advice.
